Charlotte Prendergast
Charlotte is a former head teacher with over twenty years of experience in teaching, educational leadership, and programme management in the UK and international schools. Charlotte currently works in the non-for-profit sector leading the strategic development and delivery of creative writing programmes across schools in England.
Alongside her professional work, Charlotte supports educational initiatives that broaden young people's horizons. She helped launch Generating Genius – a charity that supports disadvantaged students to study STEM subjects at university. In Ghana, she ran the Dare to Dream project in rural schools to raise children’s educational aspirations and set up the Big Sister Little Sister girls mentoring programme.
Charlotte has a master’s degree in Social Justice and Education from Institute of Education, UCL, and is passionate about supporting all young people to fulfil their potential.
